Are you ready to kickstart Autumn? National Fitness Day is just around the corner on Wednesday 20th September, and we've got an exciting challenge for you!
In celebration of National Fitness Day, we’re inviting you to take part in our Movement Marathon Challenge. It's all about moving your body, checking in with yourself and getting active!
What's the Challenge?
The average women’s marathon time is 4:48:45. We challenge YOU to incorporate 4 hours and 48 minutes of movement into your week from Monday 18th to Sunday 24th September 2023. Whether it's Pilates, dancing, walking, golf, gardening, yoga, hitting the gym, or any other form of physical activity – all movement counts!
We're in this Together!
I'll be taking on this challenge right alongside you, and together, we can make a real impact on our movement journey.
‘Is this achievable for me?’ I hear you say! Here is a week of exercise you could do that would make your week of exercise 4:48 hrs/mins:
Monday - Pilates class (45 mins)
Tuesday- Walk the dog (30 minutes)
Wednesday - Dynamic YouTube Class or group sport (30 minutes)
Thursday - Pilates class (1 hour)
Friday - Walk with a friend (1 hour)
Saturday - Park Run/Outdoor Activity (walk, gardening, swimming) (33 minutes)
Sunday - YouTube Pilates/Stretch (30 minutes)
Choose things that you enjoy to make it fun! All movement is good!
