ABOUT EMILY& MESH

Emily's life has revolved around dance from the age of three when she took her first ballet class. She instantly fell in love with it. Emily danced almost every night of the week and went on to train at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts and became a professional dancer aged twenty one.

Emily went on to perform in shows around the world including Mamma Mia! The Musical on board the Allure of The Seas, where she played Sophie Sheridan. Not only does Emily love to perform and bring joy to audiences all across the country, she loves to teach and work with young aspiring dancers that also love performing. Emily offers classes which allow you to train like a professional but have a positive, encouraging atmosphere.

MESH Dance was born in March 2020 as the pandemic hit and closed theatres and dance schools. Emily knew she had to keep young performers dancing so she set up her online classes where student could work on their technique and learn dances from a plethora of West End Musicals. These classes allowed dancers to become versatile in many styles and also to have a supportive community that were all in the same boat.

Emily lives by the motto 'progress not perfection' and hopes to help lots of dancers become the best performers possible by instilling confidence, technique and story telling into their training.
